House of WAX

I have discovered why some people completely wax off thier eyebrows.
The whole waxing to shape thing is so frakkin difficult, it would be a hundred times easier just to wax the whole lot off.
My hands, my face and quite a large proportion of my house is now covered in wax due to trying to shape these facial caterpillars.
Getting the wax off when you've done's a bitch, because if you have just a tiny layer on your skin that you cant snap off, the only other way I can think of getting it off, is to heat it up again and scrape it off.. But this then results in pretty much third degree burns.
Ah man, you really can't win.

Hi Brenda?

I just thought about naming this blog. Then I could say 'you will never guess what I did today Brenda' and it would be a bit more normal than me rambling on to myself in my head. But that would also be a bit like the padded cell was in the cards. So either way I'm a nutcase. I guess that makes the whole of the blogging community the same. Unless they are actually blogging for a reason, unlike me.

Maybe a lowdown on me is needed:

Hi.. I'm Hazziehat. No that's not what's printed on my birth certificate but it's what I am mainly called by the general public. That or 'Haz'. Or 'Hats'. Feel free to make up your own abbreviations.. my flatmate came up with 'Spazziet' today which made me chuckle. In some regions of the world / internet world I go by 'Bowie's Crotchess'. This is because of my love of David Bowie's crotch. Anyone who has seen the light (or the film The Labyrinth) will understand me here..

I am at uni, studying photography. I am enjoying it. And the social life that come with being a full time student. (Part time drunk.)

I have a stowaway hamster called Raoul Haussman. Technically we aren't supposed to have pets in halls of residence.. so shh. He’s very fat and also brain damaged. But he is a slightly balding legend.

There is quite alot going on in my head most of the time, but I tend not to say anything. There is sometimes no point if it's just going make matters more complicated. Although sometimes it builds up and has to be said otherwise there will be a meltdown.

I'm not very good with taking compliments. Or giving them. I hate that when someone says something nice about you.. you then feel like you have to say something nice back.. and usually it's just a 'quick.. think of something nice to say' and ends up being half-hearted and superficial.

I think I have a problem with emotions. Sometimes I have none. Alot like now, it might be because I have learnt to avoid them because I know I will end up getting upset. And then sometimes (generally Sunday evenings) everything goes tits up and I'm a freakkin mess who needs alot of sugar to make things better again.

To sum up:
I am really happy with where I am at the moment. Life is good. Yeah there are the odd shit days.. but there's nothing a tub of marshmellows can't cure.
